WHAT: ALLIANZ CHAMPIONSHIP: First Round of Championship Play
The first round of championship play to take place for the three-day Allianz Championship – the first of the PGA Champions Tour’s tournaments in this year’s early-season Florida swing – brings the legendary champions of golf to Boca Raton for a celebrated tournament and drives all net proceeds to Boca Raton Regional Hospital. This year’s roster includes champions Tour pros Bernhard Langer, Nick Price, Tom Lehman, Corey Pavin, Fred Couples, Paul Azinger and tour rookies Kenny Perry, Mark Calcavecchia, and Steve Lowery who will compete for the $1.7 million tournament purse with the Golf Channel televising live all three rounds of the Allianz Championship from The Old Course at Broken Sound Club.
